Getting into the 3D printing industry
“I originally got into the 3D industry toward the end of 2013. My previous employer, ScanSource, was looking for a 3D printing tech expert for their new 3D business division. I had been following the 3D industry for a little while and dug in to learn as much as I possibly could in order to prove my skills and get the job. I ended up getting chosen for the position and have been fully immersed in the 3D industry ever since.”
After more than five years at ScanSource, Andrew has recently moved on to a new challenge, co-founding Digitize Designs. His team is composed of 3D printing enthusiasts with expertise in 3D scanning, modeling, reverse engineering and more! Digitize Design portfolio spans across a range of sectors including virtual reality, digital archiving and rapid prototyping – find out what they have been up to lately.
